About Me

My approach to psychotherapy is holistic and depth-oriented. I help my clients to look inwards and go deeper within themselves to find the answers and the healing they are seeking. I find that many people’s present-day pain-points and challenges are often rooted in past unprocessed emotions, psychological wounds, traumas, and unmet needs. Deep healing is possible by looking inside, finding where these injuries are held, and healing the lost, neglected or wounded fragments of self.

My work is based on an understanding that what we are consciously aware of only scratches the surface of who we are and what is stored inside our minds and bodies. It is informed by what I have learned through personal and professional experiences with meditation, somatic awareness practices, psychedelic and plant medicine healing, shamanism and buddhist psychology. As such I use a variety of tools and approaches that are designed to access deeper parts of ourselves as well as deeper states of consciousness. These includes hypnosis, journey work, parts work, and EMDR.

Currently I work part-time at Reunion Experience in Costa Rica, where I help with intake screening, ceremony facilitation and psychedelic integration. Previously, I worked as a ceremony facilitator and apprentice shaman at an ayahuasca retreat center in the Peruvian Amazon, where I helped guide people through their transformative journeys with Ayahuasca plant medicine. I have also worked in intensive psychiatric settings such as UCSF’s Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute and residential treatment settings for troubled children.
